There are even older folk than I associated with the Skins, so I shall await their guidance on the details. Suffice to say the Skins was an amalgamation of two groups from other teams, brought together in attempt to marry the team ethic of the Dutch, the flair of the Scots, the creativity of the English and the ruthlessness of Brazil. There are still faces (and sometimes legs) of players around at the inception. Last season saw probably the biggest influx of new folk since the start and, happily it, coincided with a very successful time on the pitch, even if there were injuries spread throughout the team. One of the new faces (and non-injury prone making him quite the exception) is Scotty the manager. No doubt he will be maken ashen-faced pronouncements in the style of Private Eye legend Ron Knee. I shall attempt to report, or at least paraphrase, here.
